Second Time Around: A Support Group for Grandparents
August 28, 2010

This group will meet to offer support, share coping skills, offer success stories, and gather ideas on the unique needs of these families including:

  • Raising your grandchildren
  • Keeping them afterschool & weekends
  • Caring for your grandchildren while their parents work or are deployed in the military

Author of The Social Lives of Children, The Pressured Child and other best-sellers, Dr. Thompson has appeared on The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, 20/20 and Sixty Minutes. He is a noted psychologist and consultant specializing in working with children & families.
